I know all three people that follow this website have been wondering "what has happened to Mickie." This blog excludes Promo Dave because he is dissin' me in his blogs.
I haven't been fixing decorative pillows, that's Kat's job, or perhaps Robby's. I haven't been walking around the gym trying to get tougher, that would be a person excluded from this blog. I also haven't been playing acoustic getting plastered beyond belief, I happily leave this task to Chris!
"Well, what have you been doing," you might ask. I've been on vacation spending time with Kat and the kids, goofing off and having fun. Of course I've been slacking on my blog responsabilities, as a certain person I have excluded from this blog would say.
I haven't gone anywhere and if the excluded person is lucky,I'll blog again tomorrow! |

The Hose of Rock
Last song of the set.(Let Me Go Rock n Roll)I'm portraying Ace Frehley in the band "Dressed to Kill." We're shooting live footage for a commercial for an upcoming show. Time for the outro solo. I'm jamming out, Paul pushes the igniter switch so the smoking devise, (which Paul packed the smoking powder in)smoke begins to roll out of the guitar from where the neck pick-up used to be. Then it happends, it shoots out a flame. I blow the fire out while I'm playing but the fire has a mind of its own and continues to burn. Strings start popping so I do the only thing I can think to do. Turn the igniter off, blow out the flame again and switch guitars.
So I get to blame it all on Paul since it was his guitar and he set up the smoking devise. Luckily I came out unscathed as did the guitar. The only things that had to be changed were some guitar strings and my underwear. |

I don't blog very much, but I would just like to take this opportunity to say that Dave is the coolest member of the band. Robby and Chris are great, but they are simply not as cool as Dave. Dave is my hero because he is so amazingly cool. Some times when I am at work my boss yells at me "Mickie, stop daydreaming and get back to work!" because he catches me zoning out dreaming of the day that I could be as cool as Dave. I guess that's all I have to say, oh except I think that whenever we play Dave should get my cut of the money... and beer... and Jager... and I will gladly load out his equipment with hopes that some of his coolness will rub off on me.

| My kids are on spring break this week, unlike Tulsa which is out next week. Kat and I had the pleasure, don't laugh too hard, to drive to Gallup, New Mexico(794 miles)to pick the kids up. My children are more than worth the drive. It has and will continue to be a great spring break! |
